Win This Fight Poem by Bobby Pask

Win This Fight

It may not
Be right.
But I have got
To win this fight.

You are all
I have ever wanted.
Everytime you call
I feel vaunted.

This pounding
Is exhausting.
It's resounding
In all my thinking.

You need to know
Where my heart lies.
I need to go
Before my heart dies.

I can't let go
of this chance.
I can't show
My last dance.

You have the keys
To my heart.
Water flows from my eyes
As I feel this precise dart.

My strength
Is beginning to fail.
My self faith
Is starting to flail.

These words are
So strong.
You're so far
It seems so wrong.

I need you.
I want you.
If only you knew,
In my mind, what's true.

I can't even
Write it here.
Even then,
I have fear.

I can't lose you
For it'd hurt too much.
I don't know
What I'd do without your touch.

We're not even together
But it feels so right.
I don't want any other.
I need to win this fight.
