When Will You Notice Poem by Bobby Pask

When Will You Notice

on a mountain
in a park
near a fountain
i hear a bark

i see your face
in the light
i try to race
to get out of sight

i see you walking
and i fear
talking
when youre near

i look at you
whenever i can
when you turn to
look, i have ran

i have tried
to ask you out
i feel red
and chicken out

whatever im doing
i think of your beauty
i feel like im dying
with no duty

i hope one day
you notice me
and i may
not flee

if i were to
talk
to you
i wouldnt gaulk

in class i cant think
about the work
at the rink
i look like a dork

i wish you would notice me
if you would
i would fill with glee
like i should
