We All Paint With The Same Brush Poem by Silence Dogood

We All Paint With The Same Brush

We all paint with the same brush.
Creating a picture of the world we know.
Stereotyping people into one shade of blue.
It flows together nicely creates a pretty picture.

Of diffrent hues of the same thing.
Just variations of one coulour of one texture.
A picture of water or a picture of leaves.
It'll cover the canvas in blues and greens.

It'll be put in a gallery along with all the others.
Only one brush and only one coulor.
If its pink theres no black if its green theres no yellow.
Its anything but unigue anything but diffrent.

There'll be a mountian painted in greys.
A sun in shades of yellow.
Its all the same all the same it doesnt really change.
But i'll be diffrent I'll be unique.

I'll paint a picture with blues and greens.
I'll use diffrent brushes and create new textures.
I'll make a new picture all together.
I'll show a mountian I'll show a sun.

I'll paint the sea and when Im done.
I'll paint a tree with its golden leaves.
I'll paint the summer with the fall.
I'll make it diffrent from the rest.

I'll create a pretty picture,
with the coulors of the rainbow.
I'll use diffrent tools even my own fingers.
I'll create the world that I know.

We all paint with the same brush.
Never trying something new.
But I'll paint a diffrent world.
With reds yellows and blues.
