Warrior Queen Poem by Gary Lewis

Warrior Queen

When my eyes feel empty as I stare blindly at your photo on my wall

You smile has kept me going no matter how often I do fall

I know as you posed to be snapped your smile was aimed for me

It is my brightest light during dullest moods in this city

I miss the energy that you sparked then into my soul

Given my slow burning life a some purposeful role

Adoring you with a passion was new to my personality

Creating a tidal wave of desire escalated with such intensity

I cannot believe a love so true was there all this time

Hoping it will be reaped before we go pass our prime
