War Crimes Do Grim Pictures Paint (English Sonnet)

Rating: 5.0

I have been wondering about a race
that can deceive, plunder, kill, rape and maim,
about soldiers without conscience or grace,
that does capitalists for their hardship blame,

I know in any nation there is good and bad,
of those that are wise, collected and sane
and about those that are cruel beyond mad,
with the corruption of power insane,

that cowardly behind ultimate weapons hide.
So many war-crimes do grim pictures paint
of those that do in Russia as people abide
Soldiers act barbaric and without restraint

where innocent blood call direct from the grave
and I pray for God the Ukraine to save.
