Valluvan's Spouse Vasuki Walks With Short Steps! Poem by Dr.V.K. Kanniappan

While Poet Valluvan was in his house,
His spouse Vasuki walks with short steps
Quietly without making any noise
To permit her husband to write the couplets!

If you ask as to why she walks so silently,
She knows her husband might sometimes get angry
If the noise rose out of her steps makes him to worry
While her husband was writing short poems inside her house!

Note:

Valluvan was a Tamil poet who lived nearly 2000 years ago. He wrote classical couplets numbering 1330 in 133 chapters,10 couplets in each heading. His wife was Vasuki. This poem says how Vasuki was moving in her house while her husband was writing poems.
