Trust Poem by Preston James

Trust

Rating: 4.8

They love me, they say,
They'll always be there, they say.
But...
She loved me too, didn't she?
And she left.
So what does it mean?
To say something
Is no better then saying nothing.
People lie
To your face,
To mask what they feel,
Or what they will do.
So why trust?
It only ends badly.
So what's the use?
There is none.

Well written poem & very honest 'So why trust? It only ends badly So what's the use? ' Is a great line, it brings back a bitter feeling of nostalgia from a previous relationship.

True and trustworthy people is a test. They come always after a series of failures and nearabaout experiences so that you can have analysis of good and bad.Well said message here. Do read mine-ACKNOWLEDGEMENT-somewhat similar like this including the irregular behaviour of people when it comes the word trust.
