Troubled Heart

Each morning as my eyes
open to skies of blue
your love i reach out for
but far away you are
as my heart travels in miles
just to lie close to your heart
never close are the miles
as walls of emptiness dwells within me
it makes me wonder if you smile
like the way i do
as toughts of you
rides softly through
the corridors of my heart.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

Conscience is instinct bred in the house,
Feeling and Thinking propagate the sin
By an unnatural breeding in and in.
