Trapped And Molested Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Trapped And Molested

Rating: 5.0

She was as cold as ice
When I touched her
She shriveled like a worm
I hated her for being so frightened

She sat under the lamp post
Half naked wearing
Tattered clothes and weeping
I caressed her hair
She shriveled and pushed me away

A cold wind was blowing
Her limbs were getting frozen
I held her and tried to
Make her stand and walk
She fell down
I thought intentionally

She did not like to go with me
She was afraid of believing men
Who came uttering sweet words

Even to the man with a heart
Of a father like me

Dragging my shadow I walked away
Would this world ever change

A deeply moving and touching poem. Women who are victims of crimes against chastity are so vulnerable, lost their trust especially with men. They must be afforded with protection and care. Beautifully crafted poem with compelling imagery. Very thoughtful write.

This is really a touchy poem. No one fears caress what they fear is the communication that is uttered. Fatherly love is above everything a girl ever cherishes. Good words.
