Towards Darkness Poem by Viola Grey

Towards Darkness

Rating: 3.3

Towards darkness
I stumble,
blindly seeing
the path ahead.

Twisted turns
of sentiment
attempt to drag
at my feet.

From the light
I stumble,
gladly mourning
yesterday's glare.

Twisted tongues
of feeble promise
attempt to entangle
my sweet words.

Into forever
I humbly run

towards darkness
where I find you.

Into forever I humbly run towards darkness where I find you...the ending is absolutely perfect

Chasing fate Twisting destiny We are not bound to consume life Live to craft your own And flourish for tomorrow
