Topic For A Poem Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Topic For A Poem

Rating: 5.0

A new topic
I wish to choose
To write a poem
To delight myself
And delight all.

I think and think
No topic seems
New to me at all
Every topic looks
As if considered before.

In spite of all
The poems that existed
More poems come out
Every year compared to
Those published last year.

Encouraging it is like
Inventions made this year
Are more than the prior
And every product we have
Beckons another improvement.

Creativity's ever
Increasing with time
New ideas generate
More new ideas thus
There's no dearth of topics.

For one who can think
And observe all around
There's always a new topic
To pick up, open, and develop
To create an all new poem.

In Gita Lord Krishna says, 'what ever I m saying is not a new one, all these have been told earlier. ' In this nature nothing is new. If research is made it will be found it is already written somewhere in any form. The sun moon earth all are old except the time and our topic may vary according to time. A great post. Thanks for share.

New ideas generate More new ideas thus There's no dearth of topics. So very true.... If we leave the windows of our mind wide open, newer and newer themes will enter!

I love this write. There are so many doorways to writing a poem. We only have to open the door and take a look. So many wonderful thoughts pops up. Good.
