The Unfaithful Lover Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Unfaithful Lover

Wish I had met you an hour before
In the street where we had met before
To spill my feelings of love and hate
To vomit the bitterness that was left

Wish my mind should not wander
To follow you as it has done before
I do not wish that you will be mine
And if you are not with me I am fine

Wish in my heart your love should die
Like a bird in joy skyward I do not fly
Image of your face should not be there
Whether you are alive I should not care

Wish I had met you an hour before
To tell you I hate you as never before
From the sky I have crashed onto the floor
An unfaithful heart I won't need anymore
