The Sun In Summer Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

The Sun In Summer

Rating: 5.0

The sun has come out with its fierce brutality
With its shining armours to destroy the earth
It paces the sky with vomiting fire of revenge like
After a million years a monster has taken birth

It burns the foliage and crops and make all thirsty
Being a disc of flares in the days of summer
It burns up the submissive clouds too and hangs at
The middle of the sky sucking up all the water

Summer in the subcontinent can be ferocious. You have depicted the intensity of the heat very well. I can fully relate.
