The Rite Of Passage Poem by Leaking Pen

The Rite Of Passage

I wandered lonely as a rhyme
Floating from one poem to another
When all at once I froze in time
When spring blew me kisses, and I did stutter
Beside the sea, over the sands
Ebb and flow waving poetic hands.

Continuous the stars of daffodils
Swaying gently like a bride
Spring ushers life to the outreaching hills
Golden hues from side to side
Beside the sea, over the lands
Ebb and flow gentle poetic hands.

My heart galloping to their tune
They out sparkled joyfully nature's grins
The rite of passage my poem's boon
Daffodils elevate my endorphins
Beside the sea, over the lands
Ebb and flow caring poetic hands.

How oft do I, to many winter moods
Tinker when alone its ways sombre ruins
Then I remember spring brides from the hills
My hope renewed from the golden daffodils
Beside the sea, over the lands
Ebb and flow loving from poetic hands.
