Kindness Of Our Kind Poem by Leaking Pen

Kindness Of Our Kind

Rating: 5.0

My poems are not made from silver threads
Or golden hues from a summer's day
My poems instead are blood of my heart
Each beat gets me closer to curtain close.

In this life
In this physical life
My soul, my eternal soul transcends
Immortality from the kindness of my kind

My poems are not made from riches
Or wealth beyond the dreams of my talents
I am rich with human love that suffice
I am rich beyond words can describe.

In this life
In this physical life
My soul, my eternal soul transcends
Immortality from the kindness of my kind

Yes I turned my cheek the other way
More times than I can remember
Yes I was/ am humiliated and called a cowardly heart
I followed firmly the path of the righteous.

In this life
In this physical life
My soul, my eternal soul transcends
Immortality from the kindness of my kind

Is this the best-written poem in the world?
Probably not: as I am judged on its semantic comps
But if you and I dwell on the meaning of life
Together touch the heart of love.
Then we have fulfilled our destiny!

In this life
In this physical life
Our souls, our eternal souls transcend
Immortality from the kindness of our kind
