The Feelings She Hides Poem by Silence Dogood

The Feelings She Hides

Rating: 5.0

You shouldnt have said no.
You shouldnt have pushed her aside.
She could of been the one.
Now theres tears in her eyes.

You hurt her deeply.
But you dont care.
No second glance.
At her standing there.

She'll smile her smile.
With her broken heart.
She wont show weakness.
She wont fall apart.

Shes stronger than you thought.
Theres much more to see.
Shes pretty on the surface.
But theres beauty underneath.

Shes got a great personality.
Funny, and true.
Her only mistake.
Is falling for you.

But I dont point a finger.
I dont hand her the blame.
It wasnt her fault.
You gave her this pain.

Of a broken heart.
And tears shed inside.
A silent scream.
The feeling she hides.

Dedicated to my friend Angela who fell in love with the wrong guy

What a very sweet tribute to your friend.. This is penned with much emotion, and I enjoyed the way you kept the flow easy, but filled with pain..... Very very good! ! Bonnie
