Thanks To A Tree
tree's light is off now
few boxes still under
tomorrow would be
clean up tree be gone
leaving just ornaments
for coming season
i wonder how many
trees give its life
for human festivities
why should you take
a beautiful tree indoor
to make you happy

i agree with you completely. The tree is more beautiful in its natural environment alive rather than inside the living room. What you have inside the room with all the glittering lights is the body of the murdered tree.
