Symbol Of Honour Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Symbol Of Honour

Symbol of honour

She is real identity
the symbol of African unity
one has seen her suffering from poverty
yes her head is high with thanks to an almighty

what has she seen?
the crime scene
with full fo horror
and apparent terror

she has seen people suffer
from hunger
and express an anger
but what can she offer?

she has been subjected to torture
and undergoing unstable future
no one is seemingly in her favour
she is real pride and honour

she is the real diamond
and can be told none to second
she is found
with her presence around

we feel proud of her colour
that shall be realized later
but what do we expect for the honour of people?
why should they be forced to flee to Jungle

Omar Nassar Wow! I am stung by the beauty of your sublime poem. I am humble by the beauty of the African queen portrayed. You have made my day. Thank you! . Like · Reply · 1 · 22 mins Remove

Michael Owagu Emmanuel Oh, I feel the tempo in this. Enchantingly telling the world to come to her rescue. Shared muse. Thanks sire Like · Reply · 1 · 1 hr
