Spring Poem by Lawerence Mize, Sr.

Spring

Ah, Spring
With it's clean fresh air
Brings the killings
From nearly everywhere
Car chases and Cops
Shootings in the street
Baltimore and the counties
Nowhere safe to meet
The changing of the seasons
From cold to warm
Can leave you scared
Anxious and torn
We want to relax
Get out in the sun
Just never know if...
We'll be on the wrong side of a gun

I certainly hope you never are, on the wrong side of that gun! ! ! Here's wishing you and yours a wonderful spring, away from all the mess!
