Sitting In Dark Corners Of Life Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Sitting In Dark Corners Of Life

Feeling a sadness taking over, loneliness right behind it,
feeling abandonment caused by both of them, sitting in
dark corners of life.

Wondering why life has to be so difficult, full of strife
and turmoil, going throughout this life meeting hardships
head-on.

Never letting it get too close, for what's the sense in
that, not letting it defeat or send me spiraling into
despair.

Finding ways to keep busy and forgetting self in the
process, seeing what can be done for others who cannot
do for themselves.
