Showcase Of P-H Poems, Bri Edwards Has Enjoyed, Shared Now For October 2023 & Beyond Poem by Bri Edwards

Showcase Of P-H Poems, Bri Edwards Has Enjoyed, Shared Now For October 2023 & Beyond

Rating: 5.0

Now, on P-H's Add New Poem page, I see something new.
This site presents an example of 'how a poem usually looks'.
I suppose PH is really trying to be Helpful for me & FOR YOU,
but IS IT what a publisher would dare offer to authors of books?

I think NOT! I'll not let 'usually' bother me. I'll press on
, gather a variety of poetic works & suggest you take a peak.
But, of some LONG POEMS, I may just give to you a TASTE!
For me and you I tend to do this monthly, not every single week!

You needn't read all of these; you don't need to read any! !
AND you needn't leave a comment, though I hope some DO.
At times my task is daunting. But it will never cost ONE penny.
No one pays me to do this. At times I even 'enjoy' it. It is TRUE!

1 - The Ballad Of Jeffrey Epstein

Poem by anais vionet

You made me rub you
I didn't want to do it
I didn't want to do it

You paid me damn you -
I was so scared I'd do it
You always knew I'd do it

You made us happy sometimes
you made us sad
the twisted world you made, Jeff
You treated us so bad.

You made me fly for
The island where you kept us
and all your friends slept with us.

We wanted something newwwww
Yes, It's true, 'deed we knew
You know we knewwwww

Giving, Giving, Giving, Giving what you lied for
there are some things rich men commit
- perverted crimes for..

You know you made me rub youuuuuuuu

2 - Thirst

Poem by Chad Dominus

Digging, digging, digging a well
How deep is it? I cannot tell
But I am far beneath the desert sands
Trying to dig with my raw, bloodied hands
I am weary of this endless toil
I doubt there is any water in this gritty soil
Perhaps I chose to dig in the wrong spot
Yet, getting out, I know I cannot
Now the watering-hole I dug so brave
I fear will be my dark, dry grave

Indeed, having a showcase is a daunting endeavor. It entails a lot of time and patience. Thank you, Bri, for all your efforts as always. I like the poem of Anais Vionet and the poem entitled 'Thirst ' by Chad Dominus.
