Goodbye to anger
carnality and lust
goodbye to foolish pride
to things that wear and rust;
say so long to boastful lies
to words that just deceive
to things dishonest and untrue
to things that make us grieve;
say goodbye to unbelievers
that tell you,God is dead
seek only those that know the truth
and praise His holy name instead;
turn fast away from darkness
head quickly forward to the light
cast aside, those that bring you down
go to the One who high above, is bright;
say a last farewell to anger
to sinful nature you possess
turn to creation and Your Maker
and to Him and Him alone, confess.
