Sunshine Poem by dave lessard

Sunshine

Rating: 5.0

There were days of sunshine
the dark clouds never came
there were days of pleasure
when you would call my name.

I remember good things
I put aside the bad
there were days of love
no things that made me sad.

But some things die in blooming
like a flower, fades away
but the times we had together
they weren't meant to stay.

It went in little pieces
the dissolving of my heart
slipping through my fingers
of which you were a part.

But there was always sunshine
when I reflect the years
no darkness of a cloud
no harboring of fears.

Days of sunshine dissolve in heart to give beautiful reflection. An interesting poem is wisely penned. We hope lost love will be regained with light...10
