Rush To Paint The Sunset Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Rush To Paint The Sunset

You there,
Standing so idly by,
Hurry now!
Grab your pallet of colors,
And your artist brush,
You must rush,
To paint the sunset!
Now wait for the moon,
Wait for the moon...
Ah, but if a star appears,
Oh, you must catch it if it falls
and
Make a wish!
Make a wish!
