Roast Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Roast

With marigold blooming in abandon
You blink eyes from the sky- a sure
Sign of your desire to meet me; we
Have plucked many a stars when
The guard of a sun was asleep on
The other side of the temple wall;
Seas wept spume while performing
Obsequies of rotten beliefs that have
Spurned our love in the mid of youth.
