There are many reasons
For my survival here on the earth;
Like I forget to sleep when
The roosters shout from the dung hills;
Like I wait for the ripe
Mangoes to fall in the sultry noon;
To pick up and eat with a pinch of salt;
And like enjoying ironing
Of my newly purchased trousers
To attend the funeral feast of my dear friend;
There are many more reasons
Like unloving you slowly
Till you die in my heart;
Like unfolding the painful memory of falling
In love and erasing them one by one to
Make the mind blank like the rainless sky;
