Reason Poem by Lilyann Monahan

You must let me know the reason,
why you won't see me ever again,
the problem is I'm so in love,
it's unfair to me, Amen.
I have thought this out many times,
all I come up with is this,
We can only be blue and black,
normalcy is very rare.
We have seven people that need our love,
and it would be hard to explain,
but we are responsible for them,
the way to stop it is restrain.
I feel normalcy can occur,
you just don't give it a try,
but I'll respect your wishes,
because all I want to do is cry.
Why did you make up a story,
just to keep me away from you?
That was really dishonest,
and I know that its untrue.
