Temperature

Temperature today
Freezing outside
Sizzling inside!

Talk Show

Fire lit; the kettle whistles
Moist steam sprayed
Even the windows get warm!

A lovely poem written in a style and way that many meanings can be assigned to it. How beautifully you have left it to the readers to assign a meaning of of their approach and choice. As far as myself is concerned I understand it with my inner emotions and passions in such a romantic cold weather.....10

Beautiful description of temperature in different ways. Temperature outside and the temperature inside(thoughts) us is quite different. Where as fire displays only one temperature whether be it inside or outside. Great message. Loved reading it. Beautiful presentation.

Another crisp and succinct observation of life and occurences happening aroud! When it is freezing outside, our mind may be seething inside! Life is often a tough game! Great write!

This is a nice slice of life on-going in its ordinary pace, no special momentum, no urgency. Times like this can calm a lot of the stress our lives provoke, or the lift the pall of depression. It's one thing to write poems about extraordinary events and people. Those are exciting and mind-stretching poems. But ones like this poem are also necessary to bring us back in balance. And make the sheer flow of time enjoyable.
