Pride Of Veterans Poem by louis rams

To all our vets on this day in our hearts you will stay
You put your lives out there for the Red, White and Blue
And to your beliefs you are true.
In so many countries we walk with pride as our
Comrades are by our side.
The world watches and stands in awe as we go from
Shore to shore.
The colors of our flag and the Liberty Bell has cast
A " world wide spell".
No other country would send their soldiers to protect
Other nations from dictatorship annihilation.
We wear soldiers uniforms and not a disguise
As so many need to hide.
I raise my glass in a toast for the American Veterans I do boast.
