Precious Little Things Poem by RAJ NANDY

Precious Little Things

Rating: 5.0

Little things of life are enough for me,
Though for some, enough is never enough!
A ray of the radiant sun;
A fistful of the azure blue sky;
A dew dropp on a blade of grass;
Or even a beam of the golden moon; -
Is enough to make me sigh and swoon!

The butterflie’s colored wings;
A parrot’s feather of emerald green;
Or the sight of a gulmohar tree in bloom,
All ablaze with tinge of yellow and red;
Is enough, and my day is made!
And so will a pearly dropp of tear,
From your doe-like eyes, will suffice,
To bid me farewell, on my demise!

What a sweet thing you have written. I bet where you live parrots are flying free, aren't they? I love the ending, the little tear in the eye of the loved one.
