This poem 'Praising a Poet, 'me' by a Co-Poet! ' is a translation of two short poems by my friend Poet Kaliappan Esekkial.
பொழுது போக்காய்ச் சென்றாலும்
எழுத எண்ணும் போதினிலே
எழுமே இன்பத் தமிழென்றால்
முழுதும் நீங்கள் தமிழரலோ!
வாயினால் வாழ்த்துரை செய்தே
போயினோம் என்றிருப் போமோ?
பாயிதைப் படித்துமே உம்மைத்
தூய்மையாய்ப் பணிந்திடு வோமே! - காளியப்பன் எசேக்கியல்
