Pleasant Presence Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Pleasant Presence

All the candles
Were blown off
By breath's
Single puff
Children
Friends
And well-wishers
Greeted
'Happy birthday'
They cheered
When they
All gathered
And provided
A surprise
Much needed
Get together
So special it was
For the soul
Turning younger again
What a day it was
Made pleasant
By their presence.
