Paradox Poem by DEEPAK KUMAR PATTANAYAK

Paradox

Paradox
- - - - - - -
Here dwells the paradise
Greenery all around
Lustrous and dewy-fresh
Through the year the earth looks
Landscapes with mountains
Lakes and beaches
All add to their beauties
And to them Nature yields
Be it Switzerland,
France or Holland
Beautiful and bountiful
Is Nature bestowing
The people gifts so wonderful
Rich with money
And rich with nation's economy
They look not bereft of happiness
But they look very happy outwardly
For they are inclined to hear
From Indian monks
How to lessen stress
Mind seen with no peace of mind
Physical distances
Have been reduced by technology
Instantaneous is the communication
Now because of easy connectivity
Seated on their sofa in drawing room
The couple can chat with their children
Miles away in US, Canada or Britain
But for the last two months
Between the same husband and wife
Sitting so close to each other
There has been no proper communication…

This is especially regarding to life of many people who face such situation in their day to day life. I loved the you presented this topic. Thanks for sharing with us.

It is unfortunate that there arises such a communication gap between people who are physically so near but mentally miles apart! This silence, growing among couples leads to the disruption of family life! The initial joy of marriage disappears and boredom sets in! You have beautifully dealt with a very cardinal problem that causes ruptures in relationships! A great write, Deepak!

Life has its own intricate phases of joys and woes and you have given a portrait of the paradoxical image of it. The poem seeks to know the interiors of mindsets apparently hidden.A poem that very strong in its content value Deepakji.
