Once Upon A Greenery Grass Poem by DOMINIC PREMPEH

Once Upon A Greenery Grass

Rating: 5.0

Once upon a greenery grass
With a girl so glib as glass
Showing sides so smooth like ice
And her waist carrying African beads
That dangled loosely on her hips

She showed me what was scarce
And gave me what was rare
And I rushed in with the speed of a hare
I screamed aloud when called to come
And sighed with lust when all was done

Exhausting all the lust we had borne
And, when all the fun had gone
Her clothes were gone from the barn
But, we wore mine
Because we are one

(Aug.2005, Inspired by the grass on the Achimota golf park; on my way to lectures at Legon)
