And I cherish my Ruth
The first is my ancestry
And the latter is my dignity

We lambast the rapist but sex young girls in secrecy
We insult the thief but take bribes
We scorn the prostitute but date more than one person
...

Let the act of violence end
End with this short piece
And let us put a stop to this hatred
Even if it would not be with ease
...

They love to join the longer convoys
Move around towns and cities
On those asphalted first-classed roads
And stand on the bigger platforms
...

Wasted years
In faded tears
Stupid turns
In fruitless thoughts
...

Cry!
And I will cry with you
Smile!
And I will giggle along
...

We sang the songs of old
Away from home
Our God-forsaken home
...

“I Moved Along the Bushy Path,
To See If I Could Find;
Find her footprints in the scattered sand
Or the Exact Spot
...

Women and children seen in groups
Mourning the dead and lost souls
All in subdued wails!
People not seen closer again
...

Fear not this moron
For what he is doing are mere antics
By morning he’ll be gone
Very far, when you’re still be searching for answers
