nine by eleven
the day the world was shaken
by villain Laden
it was so brazen
it took some time to sink in;
done with.precision
the hijacked airplanes
flew through World Trade twin.towers
wicked and insane
soon a rubble heap
thousands perished in instants
the devil's big leap
aimed to deeply wound
man's psyche'.that presumes, 'yes,
we are safe and sound'
the end of.man's faith
dawn of endless suspicion
excuses, no dearth
'you build and we break
go against jihad, we kill;
your life is at stake'
suicide bombing
is their SOP; with it
success comes.romping
The War on Terror
its cunning adversary
under the radar
in the Middle East
Islamic rule in a mess
bridled poor resent
terror's long term plan:
Sharia throughout the world;
backward march for man
one Laden is killed
thousand others have risen
to kill all, well drilled

11th September will ever remain as a black day and a searing wound in the hearts of peace lovers! The towering structures that loomed into the horizon were smashed down in the split of a second and thousands of lives were wiped off from the face of the Earth.
Not one thing with Islam or Islamic belief, BUT: A dashing poem on the tragedy of the 11th of September 2001, all persons involved herein are corrupt. This TwinTower must be pulled down, however, since it did not gain profit, it had a constant loss and never a profit. Within so few days all the iron was transported to somewhere secretive place-land. Thank you so much for sharing this ardent poem. Fervently worded. A fantastic poem!
Thank you, dear poet, for your appreciation. I have nothing against Islam -I have good friends from that faith. What pained me was the wanton destruction. Thanks for noting this aspect.
