Myself A Boat Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Myself A Boat

Rating: 5.0

Like a paper boat
In the sea of life
I move on

Slowly, directionless,
The waves of events
Push me
This side to that
That side to this

Always in fear
Of getting toppled
Dark clouds
Hover over my head
Threatening my existence

I get soaked
In saltiness
The sea usurps me
To prove its continuance
As the sole survivor

Everybody is a victim of that usurpation. A poem that touches the depths
