My Losing Moments
Moments slip away fast
Like sands from under my feet
I am going into my final rest
To my guide and mentor I will meet
Aroma of this life is
Fading away fast in the air
I will be lost forever to all
Whether they treat me bad or fair
My memory will be erased
From the minds of friends and foes
In the heat of time my life
Will be finished like a weathered rose
