My Dark Side Poem by Melanie Walendowsky Baker

My Dark Side

My Dark Side
I try to shield.

To Darkness, though,
I'll never yield.

How tiring it is
to keep things cool,

when all I can think is:
'God, I'm a fool! '.

Who would want to see
the dark side of me?

To them would it be fair?
And come on, who would really care?

interesting and provocative poem...and I'm thinking....maybe just lelt the light shine with the darkness....and all will balance in the end.....and for those seeking one who has no 'dark side'...they are in denial
