My Ardent Desire Poem by Devanshu Patel

My Ardent Desire

Rating: 4.9

I'd like to love you as you are,
The way you love' and live' so far.
I like the way you've taken care
Of me, an' kids just being so fair

I'd like to sing a song of love,
The pious bond of all above;
For years and years until I die,
Until the sun brightens the sky.

I'd like You love me as I do
With all my virtues and vices, too.
Let us unite and take a vow
To love and live in peace from now.

What a lovely thing to give as gift! A gift that means well, and comes from heart but with enough art to make it endearing. Beautiful.
