A Tribute To Teachers

A tribute to Teachers

I want to kiss those hands so kind
That raised on me always to bless.
I want to kiss those feet refined,
That paved the ways for my access.

Of all those, whom I love a lot
My mom and dad are in first place.
They gave me birth, and raised with love
And taught me all the lessons base.

How can I miss teachers of mine
Who taught me how to read and write?
Whatever they did I cannot define
In words to say is just not right.

Tons of thanks in honor of them
I have to say not just one day.
For turning a stone to sparkling gem
I need to bow head every day.

A great teacher, itself, is life!
Teaching for free in different style.
I learn a lot from stress and strife
So I should honor my life with smile.

Hands of teachers are very kind. They give their blessings with pure mind for nice future of their students. Mother and father remain in first place. Their valuable teachings to children help a lot. We can never miss teachers. Life is a great teacher. We learn many tings from experiences. An excellent poem is beautifully penned as tribute poem of affection for all teachers. Wishing you very happy Guru Purnima....10

favorite lines so far, for the meaning, the poetic-feel of it (especially the line re stone to gem) and for the familiar grammatical structure! ! ! : Tons of thanks in honor of them I have to say not just one day. For turning a stone to sparkling gem I need to bow head every day. (cont.)

Beautiful metaphors used to thank various teachers and show respect. The piece is so well penned the words ring in ears for long. And then illustrated with a very good picture.

Teaching is one of the noblest professions. Teachers are our second parents in school. Aside from our parents., they are one of the first persons who nurtured.our minds and equipped us with knowledge and discipline as our arms to a better tomorrow. In view of these premises, we must give our teachers due respect, care and love.
