Morning And Evening Poem by Edwina Reizer

Morning And Evening

We will not age
for our hearts are young.
Though hard of hearing
our song will be sung.

We will not age
for our love is bright.
And though hard of seeing
we can feel through the night.

We will not age
for our desire remains.
And though we are mellow
we welcome the rains

That wash over the past,
yet glisten brilliantly
so our love can last.
For I am content with thee.
