Missing You Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Missing You

I am going to the place
Where once we used to meet
There seeing your beauty
I have controlled my heartbeat

There under the moonlit sky
We used to sit for hour
Till crows cawed incessantly
From the top of a church tower

There we kissed and made love
First time under a guiding star
As I became a swinging stalk
You lie on me as a new flower

The love was true, so was the lust
That gripped our heart for long
Bodies and souls cleaved together
We became lover’s melodious song

I am going there to seek you
Along love’s lane to take a stroll
I know you will not be there
To rush at me when I give a call
