I didn't get to see you today
You brighten my day in every way
When I see you in just a glance
My heart races and starts to dance
I need to hold you to my soul
Your love, your light would be my goal
I need to hear your beautiful voice
To have you as mine would be my choice
I will look for you always, and when we meet
My heart will dance as well as feet
To kiss your face, your lips, with solemn grace
Until I hug you may time hasten its pace
And when I hold you, I hope time stops
To be held by you before my body drops
I'd know then my soul would soar
So high that the angels would adore
Our love that's shared in every way
When I see you on that day
