Mind Crying Silently
Feeling tired after ten treatments of radiation and
surgery for breast cancer, mind crying silently when
finding out the diagnosis, knowing it had to be done.
Now a cancer survivor once again, living as fully as
possible, not letting anything get in the way, moving
forward, always writing, letting feelings and emotions
be expressed.
Yes, calamities often come to us bringing forth from us capabilities unknown ere. They fill life with new enthusiasm, new vigour. This poem has certain freshness, naturalness. Thanks for sharing.
