Meet Me
When the earth seems deep in slumber
In the early morning time
When the trees stand silence in grove
And bells not yet chime
I look for you to come out
As through fields I wander about
When the horizon is immersed in dark
And a lone star hovers near it
When the stream flows in cool silence
There is not a soul in the street
I wish you should no more hide
Wake up to meet me by the river side
