I heard a sparrow chirping
Perched on the window sills
A dark cloud was coming to
Pour rain from over the hills
I saw the sparrow shaking
Its wings as it was in fear
The cloud became darker
Its loud sound we could hear
I let the sparrow come into
My room and sit in a corner
The cloud lashed the land
With lightning and thunder
Light poured upon the earth
The sky turned blue and clear
The sparrow comes to me every
Morn and we are friends so dear
