Marriage That Never Was Poem by Ontomu William

Marriage That Never Was

We loved each other, no...I loved her
I saw her oftenly as she waded by
And confessed my obsession openly
She knew it for I sold out apparently
We laughed out loudly
Like two love birds in love...
No..we never laughed, only happened in wonderland
Grazing the streets
We shared a lot, said a lot
I kissed her everyday
In my colt,
Poor me! this is wonderland!
just my mind veering away

And then the big day came
I proposed to her majesty
For I told her, your kingdom
Is one to die for
She nodded and gave consent
her kinsmen gave consent
Then the big day came
Quite promptly
When tears flooded and gushed
It was a day for catastrophe
A day to file and sign
for a divorce
For a marriage that never was

Well penned, expressive...i like it. I agree with you, and sometimes the castle is a sandcastle...
