Thank You For The Wishes Poem by Ontomu William

Thank You For The Wishes

Thanks to all my friends who wished me birthday wishes
I hadn't logged on for quite a while but now I am back
I am black but whether white or black
Life will give the same lashes back
My mantra has never changed
Never slack in benevolence
Whether in recompense
Or just kindness to humankind

In my teen I had ideas
I dreamed skyscrapers and more
My pastor says be a doer
Water is not denser than blood
My greatest enemy is me
The worst fiend is your friend
A nettles sting is worse than a bee
Yet pain is what both expend

Tenda Mema and forget
But ne'er forget to do good
Everything good comes from God
This world is home to sorrow but ne'er fret
He who called you is faithful
Rejoice and again I say rejoice
Life is a choice and Happiness too is a choice
We are but vagabonds in this world eventful

If God be for You what cant you conquer
And If He called you what is it you've done?
Ah! I am done as More and Done
I believe you, with your words I concur
Once again Thanks to all my friends who wished me birthday wishes
I hadn't logged on for quite a while but now I am back
I am black but whether white or black
Life will give the same lashes

Never forget to do good Mishra, sometimes we forget, we are just human.
