1. I get all aspersion from public!

My lover who went with desire
…..to earn money is a good person – But
for me who stays back bearing his being apart,
…..I get all aspersion from public!

2. He went without due esteem to me!

Considering the money is great,
…..he went without due esteem to me,
The people in this world shall admire
…..his benevolence and grace! - 2

3. He resides in my heart for ever!

O’ my good heart!
Can you say the lie which your heart knows?

Need not!
He resides in my heart for ever!

4. Why do you still cry? O’ my eyes!

O’ my eyes!
Don’t you know that he is in my heart?
Why do you still cry?

5. Did I titter with bashfulness?

I felt bashed!
....Did I titter with bashfulness?
I don’t know
....with regard to my altered mind!

6. He gave me nothing but aspersions!

He came,
...attracted my heart and left away!
What he gave me
...was nothing but aspersions
among the village
...community!

7. The Lute (it is me) , which lost its tune!

Eyes shall fill with tears!
.....Bangles from my arms shall fall!
By seeing the Lute (it is me) ,
.....which lost its tune!

8. The arms shall send bangles!

The eyes which search him
…..shall send liquid tears as message;

The arms which embraced him
…..shall send bangles!

9. Hurried deep sighs only are arising!

My lover leaving so briskly - to earn money,
In my heart which desires to go behind him;

Hurried deep sighs only are arising
from my chest unnecessarily!

10. Her face flushes red like flower in union!

Lover is longing within herself
about the day and night alternating!

While the sun leaves,
the face of the world becomes dark,

Later when the sun shines,
its face turns red like flower!

Similarly, while the lover leaves
to earn money, her face turns dark;

When he returns and unites her,
her face flushes red like flower!
